ReviewPilot (“we”, “us”) provides software to help businesses manage Google Business Profile reviews and posts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use ReviewPilot.

2. Information We Collect

• Account and contact information (such as your name, email address, and phone number).
• Business information (such as business name, location(s), and Google Business Profile identifiers or links).
• Google Business Profile connection data (such as OAuth tokens and related connection details).
• Review content and metadata (such as review text, ratings, timestamps, and reviewer name if present).
• Usage and log data (such as feature usage, error logs, device, and browser information).
• Billing data handled by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by Stripe on our behalf).

3. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the service (including reply automation, weekly posts, and reporting).
• Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud, and detect abuse of the service.
• Improve and develop the product (analytics and debugging).
• Communicate with you about your account and service. If you opt in, we may also send marketing or product update communications.

4. How We Share Information

• With trusted service providers/subprocessors who help us with hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics, and payments.
• We do not sell personal information.
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of our users or others.

5. Google Business Profile / Google API Data

We access your Google Business Profile (GBP) data only to provide features you enable in ReviewPilot, such as fetching reviews, drafting or posting replies, and publishing posts.

• We do not use GBP data to build advertising profiles or for unrelated advertising purposes.
• You can disconnect your Google account at any time to revoke our access to your GBP data.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

• You may request deletion or export of your data by contacting us.
• We may retain limited records where necessary for legal, tax, or billing purposes.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

• You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information by contacting us.
• You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
• If you provide a phone number, we may contact you via SMS for account or service-related messages. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages.

9. Children's Privacy

ReviewPilot is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. In some cases, we may provide additional notice (such as email or in-app notifications).
